Essential Theatre are thrilled to be developing a new work, “A Stranger in town”.
This play with music draws inspiration from original radio recordings from Otto Lampel’s musical diary “A Stranger in town”.Otto Lampel was a Czechoslovakian immigrant living in London, working in Canada.
Otto Lampel is Sophie's grandfather. The new production of “A Stranger in town” will explore one’s sense of belonging and identity providing insight into the relationship between time and destination. “A Stranger in town without friends, without home. The stranger in town doesn’t know where to roam”. |
